Terrific action thriller in which Samuel L. Jackson is Danny Roman, a hot shot police negotiator. One morning he wakes up to find himself framed and the police after him. Desperate, he takes control of a building and knowing the rules of negotiation, Danny asks for the only negotiator he can trust, Chris Sabian. But the police become trigger happy so Sabian decides the only way he can save Danny's life is to become his partner...
