Four episodes of the popular television drama, starring David Jason as Det. Inspector Jack Frost, an unconventional policeman with no time for paperwork and a medal for bravery. Appropriate Adults - Frost investigates when an 8 year old girl goes missing. His colleague, DCI Hawkes believes that Billy Conrad, a gentle person with Down's syndrome, is guilty, but Frost has other ideas. His enquiries lead him to the body of the girl. Quarry - A teenager, Nick Walder, is murdered while involved in hunt saboteur activities at a foxhunt in Denton Lacey. Meanwhile another body is found in the local woods and Frost must solve the mystery. Dead Male One - A dead body is found floating in the river and it is discovered that he was assuming a false identity. Adie Carr, star player of the local soccer team, collapses and dies seemingly from head injuries incurred from a football match. It is later found that he has been poisoned and Frost goes in search of the truth. No Refuge - An employee at the family-run Boxley glassworks is shot dead during a robbery. The owner, Bill Boxley, witnesses the incident and is forced into hiding. In the complicated web of relationships between the family members, Frost must uncover motive and the guilty party.
