The story of identical twins, Viola and Sebastian who are shipwrecked off the coast of Illyria, and both believe the other is dead. For protection in a strange land, Viola dresses in her brother's clothes. Sebastian, now identical in appearance is soon mistaken for his sister with hilarious consequences.
