Mama's boy Bobby is the butt of every joke at Louisiana University, where he is employed as the team's waterboy. After one joke too many, Bobby loses his temper and gets fired. Back in the arms of Mama, Bobby signs on with the local underachievers the Mud Dogs. Soon Coach discovers that with the right provocation, Bobby's anger makes him the deadliest defensive tackler in the league.
